The controller section is available after approval of the project.<br>
This section lists the controllers designated for an approved project. The Designation Authorities are responsible for the controller account management. Neither the MA/JS, nor project or partner users have editing rights.<br>
Note that only core projects require controllers. Therefore, the section will be empty for all other types of projects (i.e. small projects, platforms, PACs, EUSBSR Point, Annual Forum, etc.). <br>

== Access to the controller section for Designation Authorities == <!--T:1-->
For Designation Authorities to get access to the controller section, the legal representative of each designation authority has to appoint one designation authority user and one deputy designation authority user. For this purpose, the legal representative has to complete the “Appointing document of designation authority user(s) in BAMOS+”, sign it and submit it to the MA/JS. The MA/JS provides all designation authorities of the Programme with the template and further instructions.<br>
Please note that designation authority users cannot create further designation authority user accounts. Only persons indicated in the appointing document are authorised to act as designation authority users.

== Deactivate Designation Authority users == <!--T:1-->
To deactivate a Designation Authority user, the legal representative of the Designation Authority has to send a request via e-mail to the MA/JS.<br>
The MA/JS will undertake the relevant steps for deactivation.
After deactivation, the user will not be able to access BAMOS+ anymore.

== Add controller users == <!--T:1-->
To add a controller to project partners, the Designation Authority user has to:
#	Go to the dashboard of the respective project
#	Select “Modify Controllers” under ‘Controller’
#	Select “+ New Controller”
#	Add the controller data
#	Select the partner(s) for whom the controller shall verify the real costs
#	Confirm the data entry by clicking on “Designate Controller”
#	Confirm the designation by clicking on “Yes”.
Immediately after confirmation, the controller will be added as a user to the partner report of the selected partner(s). Persons that have not been users of BAMOS+ will also receive an activation link to activate their user accounts.<br>
Please note: this activation link must be activated within two weeks!

== Deactivate Controllers == <!--T:1-->
The Designation Authorities are responsible for overseeing controller user accounts, including deactivating accounts of controller users who are no longer working for a particular project partner.<br>
To deactivate a controller, the Designation Authority user has to:
#	Go to the dashboard of the respective project
#	Select “Modify Controllers” under ‘Controller’
#	Select “X” for the controller that shall be deactivated
#	Confirm the deactivation by clicking on “Yes”.
After deactivation, the login data of the Controller is kept. The Controller can still read, but not edit the partner reports that were available at the point of deactivation.

== Modifying and deactivating controller user data == <!--T:1-->
Designation authorities are responsible for keeping data related to the controller users from the country up-to-date. In case the data of a controller user changes, the designation authority user has to deactivate the controller in all projects for which it had been active (see above). Then, the designation authority user has to add a new controller user with the correct data.

== Deactivate Designation Authority users == <!--T:1-->
To deactivate a Designation Authority user, the legal representative of the Designation Authority has to send a request via e-mail to the MA/JS.<br>
The MA/JS will undertake the relevant steps for deactivation.
After deactivation, the user will not be able to access BAMOS+ anymore.

== Add controller users == <!--T:1-->

== Deactivate Controllers == <!--T:1-->

== Deactivate Controllers == <!--T:1-->

Remember to import relevant partner reports to the progress report via the “Partner Report Management section” found on the project dashboard under “Project reporting”. Please find more instructions here: Partner reports.
Be aware that you can submit your progress report form only once! You will not be able to edit it any longer after submission until it is sent back to you by the MA/JS for adjustments/corrections.

The MA/JS provides all designation authorities of the Programme with the template and further instructions.
Note that designation authority users cannot create further designation authority user accounts. Only persons indicated in the appointing document are authorised to act as designation authority users.

== Deactivate Designation Authority users == <!--T:1-->
To deactivate a Designation Authority user, the legal representative of the Designation Authority has to send a request via e-mail to the MA/JS.
The MA/JS will undertake the relevant steps for deactivation.
After deactivation, the user will not be able to access BAMOS+ anymore.

== Add controller users == <!--T:1-->
To add a controller to project partners, the Designation Authority user has to:
#	Go to the dashboard of the respective project
#	Select “Modify Controllers” under ‘Controller’
#	Select “+ New Controller”
#	Add the controller data
#.	Select the partner(s) for whom the controller shall verify the real costs
#	Confirm the data entry by clicking on “Designate Controller”
#	Confirm the designation by clicking on “Yes”.
Immediately after confirmation, the controller will be added as a user to the partner report of the selected partner(s). Persons that have not been users of BAMOS+ will also receive an activation link to activate their user accounts. Please note: this activation link must be activated within two weeks!

== Deactivate Controllers == <!--T:1-->
The Designation Authorities are responsible for overseeing controller user accounts, including deactivating accounts of controller users who are no longer working for a particular project partner.
To deactivate a controller, the Designation Authority user has to
#	Go to the dashboard of the respective project

Welcome to the BAMOS+ Wiki
In this wiki you'll find all information related to the technical aspects and usage of the electronic Monitoring System BAMOS+ of the Baltic Sea Region Programme. The software application documents the whole life cycle of a project from the application phase over assessment, funding decision, project monitoring, payment to the project closure.<br /><br />

Please note that BAMOS+ is a new iteration of the software BAMOS, which was used in the previous programme period. Accounts (and passwords) created under BAMOS cannot be used under BAMOS+ and vice versa. So potential applicants have to apply for a separate, new account. Also the login page differs.

With the introduction of Progress Reports and Partner Reports there are now two independent levels of access in BAMOS+ (project level vs. partner level). Access to both levels has to be defined independently. Further information on the topic can be found here.
During the application phase project idea owners will reach a point, where access to BAMOS+ becomes relevant. Only lead partners who submitted the Project Idea Form (PIF) and received their registration number can apply for a BAMOS+ account. You will need access to this system in order to develop and submit your full application.<br /><br />
There are two independent levels of access in BAMOS+: The project level and the partner level:
You will need access to this system in order to develop and submit your full application.<br /><br />
All users with the corresponding rights will have full access to the complete communication (sent and received messages) at any time.

== Attachments == <!--T:1-->
The Messaging Centre supports attachments with a file size of 10MB each. The number of attachments per message is not limited.
== Checking messages== <!--T:1-->
New messages are shown on your dashboard under the “Project Messages” section. Alternatively, you can access the Messaging Centre via the menu at the top of the page. You will also receive an email notification to your registered email box if a new message arrives via the Messaging Centre (see also Setting up email notifications).
== Setting up email notifications == <!--T:1-->
Enter your profile settings via the rack-wheel-icon in the upper right corner of the page and select “profile”. At the bottom of the page, you will find a section called “Messaging Centre Configuration”, where you can change the interval for the email notifications. Please note that if you want to receive notifications on your email regarding new messages in the Messaging Centre, you must add a notification period greater than 0 hours. In this case, you will receive a notification on your email until the message is read. A notification period of 0 hours means you will not receive any notifications on your email. By default, the notification period has been set to 0.

== Sorting messages == <!--T:1-->
You can sort messages in your inbox by clicking on the header of the message table. Messages can be sorted by subject, tags or received date.
== Sending messages == <!--T:1-->
# Enter the subject and the text.
# If applicable: add an attachment by clicking on “Attach”
# Click “Send”.
# To answer a message received, click “Respond” under a received message.
== Deleting messages== <!--T:1-->
Messages cannot be deleted but can be moved from your inbox to the archive by clicking on the box symbol in the inbox next to the message. To remove messages back from the archive, you have to go to the “Archive” tab and click once more on the box symbol.

== Tagging messages == <!--T:1-->
You can add tags (keywords) for each email to keep track of your messages. For this, open the incoming message, enter tags and click on “save tags”.
== Marking messages as “favourite” == <!--T:1-->
To highlight important messages, they can be marked as a “favourite” by clicking on the star in the inbox next to the message . To remove the highlight, you have to click again on the star. All messages marked as favourites can also be found under the tab “Favourites”.

To complete a project application the Application form, the requested documents, and the Contact and bank information have to be submitted.

When filling out the application form we recommend following the numeric/chronological order, as some of the fields will only be available if the previous sections have been completed. Before leaving a section, do not forget to save.
== Content of the application form == <!--T:1-->
Applicants can get a first impression of the required content of the application form from this template. But applicants should be aware that structure and content may vary from call to call. The information requested within BAMOS+ is always the binding one, while the information in this template is only indicative and a pure example of possible content.
== Overview of your application form data == <!--T:1-->
As soon as all sections of the application forms are filled in correctly, click on “8. Submission and pdf” to be able to download a draft pdf with all of your application form data.
== Print draft application == <!--T:1-->
Click on “8. Submission and pdf” and “Create draft pdf” to generate a file that includes all inputs of your draft application. Please be aware that creating a draft pdf is only possible once all the sections of the application form have been filled in correctly (with green tick marks). <br />
Please note that the MA/JS will not accept this file as a hard copy in the application process because it is marked as a draft.
== Validate application form == <!--T:1-->
The validation function checks the completeness (“Are all necessary inputs there?”) and the coherence (e.g. “Are all calculations correct?”) of your application.<br/>
✓ (=ready) and ! (=not ready) at the top of your page indicate if a section of the application form is ready for submission.<br/>
If your input is not complete/coherent and a red exclamation mark is displayed, you can click on the “Check for errors” button and an error message will guide you to the field which contains no or wrong data. Those input fields will be marked with a red frame.
Please make sure that you always press “Save” before pressing the “Check for errors” button.
== Submit application form == <!--T:1-->
After you have validated all your data and only green ticks are shown in the menu, you will be able to submit your application. For this, you have to go to the “Submission and pdf” section, where you can press the “Submit” button which transmits your application and enables the print function.
.<br/>Be aware that you can submit your application only once! You will not be able to edit it any longer after submission.
== Application form validity== <!--T:1-->
